iStoneiStone has signed a deal with Pork Farms Caspian Limited to implement Infor’s M3 solution at sites recently acquired from the Kerry Group. Pork Farms, who acquired the food manufacturing sites at Spalding and Poole in August 2014, hope the merger will allow the business to increase its turnover. Already M3 users themselves since 2006, Pork Farms sought to implement Infor’s latest M3 v13 release, and plan to use their existing v7.1 solution as the template for the two new sites.

“Having supplied the Project Management for their previous project in 2006, we were delighted to be included in the tender list for this important project for Pork Farms”, says Andy Hughson, MD of iStone UK. “We felt throughout that iStone could assemble the best and most experienced M3 v13 project team and, coupled with our proven iStep project methodology, believed we could deliver real quality and value for Pork Farms.”

A leading UK food company, Pork Farms Group can trace its history back over 160 years, and supplies 160 million products per year to its key retail partners, which include many of the major UK supermarkets and food retail chains.

“We chose iStone as our M3 implementation partner because from the outset they demonstrated a clear understanding of our scope and objectives, and had a deep knowledge of the M3 solution”, says David Rowling, IT Programme Director for Pork Farms. “They displayed a professional approach throughout the selection process, and seemed like an easy company to do business with, leaving us ultimately feeling that iStone were a good match for Pork Farms.”
